We start the class saddled, in halters, with bridles nearby. After warming up with groundwork, we’ll mount up to work on timing and balance, develop transitions through the gaits, and practice other maneuvers to develop agility, accuracy and reliability for the trail, show ring, or wherever our riding might take us. Drill-Team Simulation, Herd-Bound Remedial, Fantasy Cow Working, and Trail Hazards 101 are among the typical exercises.
All levels are welcome. If you need a horse to ride, call me; I do have some school horses available.
We’re on “horse time,” so exact finish time may vary. Auditors/Observers are always welcome at no charge. For private and semi-private lessons, please call for appointment and rate.
